Mr.SantadyutiSamanta is currently the Chief of Information Technology at Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited and the Cluster Head – D&IT (T&D). With an educational background of B Tech in Electrical Engineering and Masters in Computer Science from Jadavpur University at Kolkata, Mr.Samanta also studied Business Analytics & Intelligence (AI & Machine Learning with Predictive Analytics) at Greatlakes. Mr.Samanta has worked in 2 successful Utilities in India, CESC & TPDDL. He has a work experience of more than 23 years across the Power Distribution Value Chain right from Power Procurement & Management, Network Operation Maintenance and Construction (Project Commissioning) and Customer Services i.e. Revenue, Complaint Management etc. At Tata Power-DDL, he has been crucial in the implementation of all associated Information Technologies & Operational Technologies like SAP, AMR, SCADA-DMS-OMS, Substation & Distribution Automation, Smart grid Technologies (Smart Metering- AMI-MDM, Field Force Automation, Auto Demand Response etc.). He is currently working on making more Intelligent Utility Work Processes through Digitalisation based on AI-ML, IoT and Big Data integration. Mr.Samanta is also a Consultant for other utilities within India and abroad representing Tata Power-DDL.
