He has more than three decades first-hand experience of Power SystemOperation of various Regional Grids of India and has worked extensively towards IntegrationofStateGridstoformRegionalGridsandsubsequentintegrationofRegionalGridsleadingtotheformationof theNational Grid. He specializes in Power System Operation, Planning, Commercial, Settlement, RestorationandentiregamutofPowerPoolingandGovernance.OtherareasofinterestincludeElectricityMarkets,OpenAccess,andRegulatoryaffairsbesidesexpertiseinLoadDespatchTechnology,integrationofRenewableEnergyincludingRECMechanism,TransmissionPricinganddevelopment ofAncillaryServices. HeisaFellowofInstitutionofEngineers(India)andSeniorMemberofIEEE.HehasrepresentedIndiaontheCIGREStudyCommitteeC2onPowerSystemOperationandcurrently represents India on the CIGRE Study Committee C5 on Electricity Markets andRegulation.
