Mr. Heruka Zangpo is a Project Director at Bhutan Power Corporation Limited. Collectively he has more than 15 years of experience in renewable energy construction projects, operation and maintenance of small hydropower plants, repair and maintenance of distribution transformers and training BPC staffs, where his main role was to manage diverse teams, build organizational capacity, improve processes, work with many stakeholders, plan and execute strategies to achieve desired targets. Presently he is the project director for developing transformer repair and manufacturing workshop at Gelephu, Bhutan which is targeted to enrich the organization by developing experts for electric transformers, production team, divest business into manufacturing, etc. He holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from University of Hawaii at Manoa, USA. Apart from the master’s degree he also holds the graduate certificates in entrepreneurship from University of Hawaii and Leadership Certificate from East-West Center, Hawaii, USA.
