Gerhard Gamperl, Director Corporate Development at VERBUND AG in Vienna/Austria has held several key management roles since joining the company in 2009, e.g. Managing Director of VERBUND International, responsible for the VERBUND activities in France, Italy and Turkey. Throughout his career, Gerhard worked in multiple executive and management positions in Austria and Germany (ABB, EDF etc.), with a particular focus in the Utility Industry and in varous infrastructure sectors. He has two advanced University Degrees, one in Business Administration from the University of Economics in Vienna, and one in Civil Engineering from the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna.
