With over 30 years in Energy and Utilities, including CIO and GM for Customer, Strategy and Regulation for Sydney Water, CIO Wessex Water, and CTO Thames Water, American Water and NPower, plus senior roles at KPMG delivering major transformation for energy utilities. George firmly advocates that the consumer’s perspective is a fundamental part of the energy transition, and successful engagement, education, and empowerment of the ‘resource-savvy citizen’ and their communities, is now a prerequisite to ensuring sustainable outcomes are backed up by effective policy and regulation.
