Ravindra Desai

Program Manager-Standards, IEEE SA

Ravindra Desai is the Program Manager -- Standards, IEEE SA. He graduated in Electrical engineering from BOMBAY UNIVERSITY and has more than three decades of experience in field of Standards, Electrical Testing, Maintenance, Projects and Diagnostic Analysis. He was Heading High Voltage Product Testing at ERDA - Power Transformer, Instrument Transformer, Capacitor, High Voltage Cable and Diagnostic testing and calibration. He has co-authored papers at National and International conferences. He is Lead and Technical Assessor in Electrical Testing for National Accreditation Board for Laboratories (NABL). He is member of Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) committee on Grid Integration of Renewables, Power System Control and Communications and Electrical Energy Storage Systems.
