Suresh Babu Muttana serves as Scientist E at the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India, where he plays a crucial role in two nationally significant projects: the research and development of Electric Vehicles based on a PPP R&D Model, and the establishment of Indian Standards for Electric Vehicle Charging Infrastructure. With a rich 15-year tenure at TIFAC, he has notably contributed to the National Mission for Electric Mobility Roadmap and fostered academia-industry collaboration through the Collaborative Automotive R&D initiative. His work in the Advanced Composites Mission supported the scaling and commercialization of innovative lab-scale projects. An M.Tech in Production Engineering from IIT Delhi underpins his expertise, alongside a commendable contribution of 44 publications and numerous invited talks at conferences worldwide.
