He is an accomplished professional with over 39 years of comprehensive experience in the power sector, spanning across various domains including general management, finance, regulatory affairs, commercial operations, power market & procurement, IT enablement, and engineering. He demonstrated expertise in strategic leadership, corporate governance, policy formulation, policy advocacy, regulatory compliance, and project implementation coupled with a strong track record of driving organizational transformation and delivering sustainable business growth. He have the unique field experience of working in all the three verticals of power sector, i. e., generation, transmission and distribution in India as both finance and engineering professional, and the Electricity Regulatory Commission in India at both State and Central level. As Member (Technical), Assam Electricity Regulatory Commission for the period of December 2019 to December 2024, he was instrumental in bringing in a wide range of innovativeness into the regulations and implementation of the same.
