MAKP Singh

Former Member, Central Electricity Authority (CEA)

M.A.K.P. Singh is a veteran power sector expert who served as Member (Hydro) at the Central Electricity Authority (CEA) until his retirement in June 2024. Throughout his career, which began at the CEA in 1992, he held pivotal roles including Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) for the Ministry of Power and CIO of the CEA. He is widely recognized for his leadership in strengthening cyber security within India's power grid, formulating "Make in India" policies for hydro equipment, and serving as an Independent Director for THDC India Limited.
