Ajith Kumar Kesavan is Senior Vice President, Hitachi Energy India Limited, and the business head of the Grid Automation business unit within Hitachi Energy India. In this role, he is entrusted with the responsibility of leading strategic developments within the industry. His focus is on integrating technological, digital, and customer- centric approaches into the business unit’s operations, aiming to enhance and drive innovation in grid automation. With over 23 years of extensive experience in the electrical industry. His career is marked by significant contributions and leadership roles in Generation, Transmission, and various facets of electrical engineering, demonstrating a robust expertise across a broad spectrum of electrical systems, from low voltage to extra high voltage. Ajith started his professional journey with the Kerala State Electricity Board, where he was actively involved in the generation and transmission segments. This foundational experience paved the way for his subsequent roles in multinational corporations (MNCs) such as ABB, Lucy Electric, and Hitachi Energy. Throughout his tenure in these organizations, Ajith has been instrumental in handling a wide range of products and solutions, showcasing his versatility and ability to adapt to the evolving demands of the electrical industry.
