Suresh Chandra Srivastava (Life Fellow IEEE, Fellow INAE, IE(I), IETE) received B Tech and Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Institute of Technology BHU abd Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, India, respectively. He has been Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, IIT Kanpur, till 2020, and as Director IIT Kanpur-LaTrobe University Research Academy and Distinguished Visiting Professor till Nov. 2023. At Present he is Project Director, IIT Kanpur SIIC-FIRST in its NOIDA office. His research interests include Power System Stability and Security Analysis, Synchrophasor Applications, Power System Restructuring and AC/DC Microgrids, and Smart Grids.
