Mr. Pourush Garg is a power distribution professional with over 23 years of experience in the sector. He currently working as Chief – Centralized Contracts and Engineering and oversees Procurement and Engineering for all 4 TP Odisha Discoms. He holds Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Sikkim Manipal University with Finance as specialization subject. He also holds Chartered Engineers certificate from AMIETE. With over 23 years of experience in Utility Operations, Maintenance, Maintenance Planning, Asset Management, Internal Audit, Network Planning, Design & Engineering, Geographical Information System (GIS), Capex Management and Regulatory Interface, Quality Assurance and Contracts Management. Mr. Pourush Garg was a key member of the core transition team during the transformation of TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL) from the erstwhile Central Electricity Supply Utility (CESU) as part of the power distribution sector reforms in Odisha. Prior to this role, he served with Tata Power Delhi Distribution Limited (Tata Power-DDL) for over 17 years, gaining extensive experience in power distribution planning and operations. He played a key role in establishing Network Engineering and Quality Assurance group in TP Central Odisha Distribution Limited (TPCODL) which helps in ensuring software based network planning to ensure capex optimization through effective network strengthening schemes.
