Shashwat Kumar
CSIS

Shashwat Kumar is a Fellow at the Center for Strategic and International Studies, focusing on U.S.-India policy studies, particularly in energy and climate. He leads projects on strengthening U.S.-India relations and has extensive experience in electricity regulation and governance. Kumar holds a Ph.D. from the Barcelona Institute of International Relations and a master's in regulatory governance from TISS Mumbai. His work spans both practical regulatory issues and academic research, contributing significantly to discussions on Indian electricity sector reforms and sustainable energy governance.
