Sr. Principal Scientist, Materials Science and Sensor Applications (MSSA)

Baban Kumar is an internationally recognised researcher and scholar. He is known for his work in Water Quality, Precision Farming and Grain Quality sensing in many National and International Universities, Research Institutes, Organisations. He has developed many technology know-hows in the Agri and Environmental Quality Monitoring Domain. Presently, he is working to develop a number of agri-and environmental monitoring technologies, such as next-generation IoT-enabled water quality assessment devices for rural, urban and industrial settings, mobile/airborne farm variability mapper using a fusion of electrical, electrochemical and optical techniques, and chemometric modelling.
