T Surya Kiran as its Executive Director. The Secretary, Road Transport and Highways, Government of India, is an ex officio president of ASRTU and it functions under the aegis of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, GOI. e ED is the Chief Executive Officer of the institution and actively carries out advocacy services for road-based public transport in the country in coordination with the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways.
